Truth Commission
The Truth Commission is established as a checks & balances system for elected representatives and government agencies. It exists to carry out fact finding research on statements made by those representatives and agencies.
In the future when an elected representative joins TSU they will have to pledge their support to the community (The One). Their pledge is in the form of a sum of money in the amount of 1 million dollars (or the primary currency of whatever country we are operating in). THIS AMOUNT IS TANTAMOUNT TO A BOND. They will receive the remainder of the pledge amount when their public service is over. If during their public service and when they are a member of TSU they tell a lie, they will be fined an amount from their pledge in the amount of 10,000.00 their national currency, which will go to benefit the members of TSU through the Credits System.
The pledge which is required of all elected representatives and government agencies can also be used to advertise their campaign and issues throughout the course of their terms or existence on TSU.
The pledges made by these individuals and agencies will be transferred to an interest bearing account. The interest gained from these pledges will go to fund the operational costs of The One.
